The challenge was clear: to identify a Chief HR with experienced and practical leadership, capable of operating in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment such as fintech. Opyn was looking for a professional able to build the HR function from scratch and to create a company culture consistent with its values.
The team specialized in HR profiles within the Executive Search division set up a highly customized search process, starting with an in-depth discussion with the founders to thoroughly understand the company culture, growth stage, and mid-term objectives. The consultants then: - defined a hybrid managerial profile, able to combine strategy and hands-on execution; - conducted a targeted market mapping, focusing on Chief HR professionals coming from start-ups, tech companies, fintech organizations, and consulting firms; - assessed candidates not only for their technical skills but above all for their value alignment and ability to guide the organization through a path of cultural evolution.
It was necessary to identify a new Sales Director with a background in the pharmaceutical sector, capable of guiding the company toward new expansion and development objectives.
To meet these requirements, we conducted a specialized headhunting process in the pharmaceutical sector. The search for the new Pharmaceutical Sales Director began taking into account all the specific client requirements: extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and para-pharmaceutical sectors, ability to manage a network of agents and distributors, managerial skills, and strong strategic expertise. The recruitment lead provided end-to-end consultancy, supporting both the client and the candidate throughout all phases of the process. The selection stood out for its efficiency: within a few weeks, a shortlist of candidates closely aligned with the company’s requirements was identified, and the search was successfully concluded in just a few months.
The client, with a strong focus on ordinary taxation, aimed to strengthen its offering by integrating services in the Tax Control Framework (TCF) area. The goal was to expand client support by complementing ordinary tax compliance and advisory with the implementation of a tax risk control system.
- Redefinition of the ideal profile: after a thorough market analysis, we identified that previous experience in the TCF sector was a restrictive requirement. We therefore worked with the client to redefine the search, focusing on candidates with a solid background in ordinary taxation but with the motivation and potential to develop expertise in the TCF area. - Definition of a clear and attractive growth path: the opportunity was presented to candidates not just as a new position, but as a full-fledged professional development project, with the chance to work closely with a dynamic partner committed to growing the firm. - Highlighting the challenge and innovation: once a candidate with a strong tax background was identified, the position was presented as an opportunity for transversal and innovative growth.
