The Ricardo Hotel Marriott is hiring for a Human Resources Manager.

You should join our team if you believe...

• That great hospitality starts with great people.

• That Human Resources is about more than policies and paperwork—it’s about creating an environment where people feel supported, respected, and valued.

• That strong leaders build strong teams through clear expectations, meaningful communication, and consistent follow-through.

• That the best employee experiences ultimately create the best guest experiences.

• That every team member deserves a workplace where they can learn, grow, contribute, and feel a sense of belonging.

• That HR should be approachable, responsive, and connected to the day-to-day operation of the hotel.

• That sometimes the most important HR work happens in the moments when a team member simply needs someone to listen.

You’re a great fit for this role if you love...

• Leading the day-to-day Human Resources function for the hotel and serving as a trusted resource to leaders and team members.

• Partnering with hotel leadership to support staffing, employee relations, performance management, engagement, and retention.

• Recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding Curators who bring the right skills, attitude, and hospitality mindset to the team.

• Coaching leaders through employee relations matters, performance conversations, corrective action, and workplace concerns.

• Building strong relationships with Curators and creating an environment where employees feel comfortable coming to HR for support.

• Ensuring HR practices, policies, and employment processes are applied consistently and fairly.

• Managing employee files, HR documentation, reporting, and other administrative responsibilities with accuracy and confidentiality.

• Supporting benefits administration, leave processes, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and other employee programs as needed.

• Partnering with leadership to identify training needs and support learning and development throughout the hotel.

• Helping leaders understand and apply company policies while balancing business needs with a people-first approach.

• Supporting employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, team events, and other opportunities to strengthen the hotel culture.

• Maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

• Working closely with leadership to identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and strengthen hotel operations.

• Jumping in when needed, because HR in a hotel rarely stays neatly inside an office—and sometimes the most important conversation happens in the hallway.

We’re excited to have you join us because...

• You understand that Human Resources is a business partner and an advocate for a strong workplace culture.

• You know how to balance compassion with accountability and can have difficult conversations while maintaining respect and professionalism.

• You are approachable, trustworthy, and comfortable working with Curators at every level of the organization.

• You can coach leaders, ask thoughtful questions, and help find practical solutions to workplace challenges.

• You have strong judgment and understand the importance of confidentiality, consistency, and documentation.

• You are organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment.

• You can communicate clearly and build relationships across departments and leadership levels.

• You enjoy being visible and engaged with the hotel team rather than spending every day behind a desk.

• You believe employee engagement is built through everyday interactions—not just an annual survey.

• You bring energy, professionalism, dependability, and a genuine passion for hospitality and people.

• You believe leadership means showing up for your team, especially when things get busy.
