ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring an HR Manager / HRBP to own US HR operations for our Palo Alto, California team. This is a hands-on, founding HR role: you will run full-cycle recruiting for our growing US team and keep us compliant as we scale, including hiring driven by M&A activity. The ideal candidate has direct, hands-on US HR experience, is fully bilingual in Mandarin and English, and is comfortable working in a lean, cross-border environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Own US HR operations and support overseas recruitment execution, including job posting, candidate communication, interview scheduling, ATS maintenance, and offer-process follow-up; support hiring for new roles created by M&A activities.

2. Manage employee relations: respond to daily HR inquiries from staff, organize team-building and employee wellbeing activities, communicate internal policies, handle employee grievances, and mitigate labor and employment compliance risks.

3. Maintain accurate HR records and support payroll and benefits coordination.

4. Complete other ad-hoc HR assignments from supervisors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree or above; hands-on US local HR experience; fluent in English and Chinese.

2. Proficient in US HR recruitment and payroll systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR, Greenhouse, Lever).

3. Well-versed in US employment compliance and employee benefit policies (FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ACA, and state-level requirements).

4. Excellent communication and coordination skills; detail-oriented, rigorous, and risk-minded.
