Accounting Supervisor: Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and review month-end journal entries, accruals and prepayments
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet accounts and intercompany balances
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close activities
- Compile schedules and supporting documentation for management accounts and statutory reporting
- Review and approve routine accounting transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requests with accurate schedules and explanations
- Maintain and strengthen internal control procedures for accounting operations
- Monitor and report on cash flow and short-term working capital movements

Accounting Supervisor: Requirements and Qualifications

- Minimum of three years practical accounting experience with at least one year in a supervisory role
