The role involves managing budgets, controlling costs and supporting recruitment and development of line managers and front-line staff. Area Manager: Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise multi-site operations to achieve sales, service and operational targets.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, quality and compliance.
  • Set area-level objectives and cascade targets to site managers and supervisors.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, taking corrective action when required.
  • Manage area budgets, control costs and support local financial planning.
  • Recruit, lead and develop site managers and ensure effective succession planning.
  • Design and deliver training and coaching to improve team capability and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, regulatory and company policies across all sites.
  • Drive customer service standards and resolve escalated customer issues promptly.
  • Oversee stock, inventory and asset management procedures to minimise loss and waste.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and partners to maintain service levels.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
