Tax Preparer: Requirements and Qualifications
- Relevant A level, diploma or degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
- Formal or practical training in taxation or equivalent hands on experience.
- Minimum of one year experience preparing tax returns; two to three years preferred for complex matters.
- Strong knowledge of current tax rules and filing requirements for individuals and businesses.
